Comments from Viewers, in response to the VTS question "what is going on the image"

Neetu Gurbani >> Could it be a soul, ready to give up his appearance (including his facial features) from his last life, to his maker, and start with a fresh face! February 22 at 6:30pm · Like

Sangeetha Pradeep >> a faceless man without the main senses of see, hear, smell, taste and touch ( as hand is also disconnected)..is todays man senseless ( i mean without the main sensory organs.....) February 22 at 7:39pm · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> ‎@Neetu you are referring to rebirth and saying this man is actually dead , and the place in the image is probably heaven or where the creator sits.. Interesting. And he is offering himself to be recreated February 23 at 1:35am · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> ‎@sangeetha you see a sense less man reflective how we live our lives ineteresting :) February 23 at 1:36am · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> what more can we find, any other interpretation? I am not trying to lead you anywhere, but you can notice the background, or the dress of the man for alternative interprations. Just curious to know how many more we can get.. Cheers :) February 23 at 1:37am · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> hey all of you made my day.. I am sorry I was away the whole day so could'nt see the comments earlier, but coming back and logging and you sharing your thoughts is just wonderfull :). Now let me see if i understand everyone here. February 24 at 8:57am · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> ‎@Neetu you see a man wishing his creator to make him anew, in a lighted tunnel which many people see when close to death.@Sangeetha you see a well dressed gentlemen but without his senses, @Girish you are saying this picture reminds you of the bad side dominate the good side, probbaly the surreal effect of the image makes you think like this ?@neeraj you see a man in introspection, finally realising what is important to him in this material world @Trupti you think he wants the world to see him beyond his good looks, or not to think of him just as a pice of meat :( @Sumeeta, you see someone in control of his sense, much like what Krishan preached us to be right?@Pooja you see a well dressed man who can balance his judgment, much like a modern version of Budhdha you probably see in the background. The background reminds you of how a temple is lit and hence your interpretation.. February 24 at 9:06am · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> So here we have rebirth, senseless materialism, the man's inner struggle with his good and bad, importance of introspection, to see what is inside rather than what is outside, importance of controlling once sensory organs and balance one's judgement.. Honestly I am humbled, but I hope you guys will not kill me after you read what I have to say :(. I myself do not know what this means. I sometimes have these images just flash through my mind when I close my eyes , and sometimes I remember to put them on paper and later paint them. this is one of those, and I myself am trying to understand it... So I am glad you came up with such deep thoughts on this.. They always say that things which are open to different interpretations always stay fresh and give you a new perspective everytime you encounter them, be it poetry or art. So I am flattered by your comments that I created this, or rather my imagination did... Like Jung said when you speak from your sub conscious, it will speak to human kinds collective subconscious. If Suresh is reading this he will say it is a big mumbo jumbo, but this proves that I did something right... Thanks all my friends.. February 24 at 9:15am · Like

Sujata Tibrewala >> Deepthi thanks for liking it.. BTW just because I summarised it does not mean the discussion is closed. please feel free to share anything else you feel about it.. remember in VTS and art the discussion is never closed ;) February 24 at 9:17am · Like

What Sujata had in mind when she painted

Is sacrifice only of visible variety? Many times people sacrifice silently, in marriages, in personal relationships, at work. These sacrifices are small ones, often taken for granted and never sung. These are the ones which make life livable for people around them but are yet least acknowldeged.
