What Sujata had in mind when she painted

This couple braving the stormy winds on a dark night, with just a lantern to show them the light, represent all the couples who vow their lives to each other. The pure love of marital bliss peppered with day to day realities is something which fills me with awe every time I see one. This is how nature intended us to live. Together as man and wife so that we can give our children the security of a home teach our children the meaning of love. But the demons of our selves and modern day aspirations make this simple task so difficult. I wish all could experience and live it.
